01

Appointments & Visits

Scheduling, preparing, and arriving safely.

How do I schedule an appointment?

Call Cozycroft at (818) 341-3040 or use the appointment request form. An online request is not confirmed until our team contacts you with an available time.

What should I bring to my pet’s appointment?

Please bring any available medical or vaccination records, a current medication list, and notes about your pet’s symptoms or changes at home. If another hospital has your pet’s records, arranging for them to be sent before the visit can help our veterinarian prepare.

How should my pet arrive at the hospital?

Dogs should arrive on a secure leash, and cats should arrive in a secure carrier. Please ask our team for guidance before bringing any other species so we can help you transport your pet safely.

Does Cozycroft see reptiles?

Yes. Reptile appointments are available on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Please request an appointment so our team can confirm availability and schedule the appropriate type of visit.

02

Wednesday Shot Clinic

Reduced-price vaccinations with no appointment needed.

When is the Wednesday Shot Clinic?

The clinic is held every Wednesday from 2:00–4:45 PM. Walk-ins are welcome, and no appointment is needed.

Is there an office visit fee during the Shot Clinic?

No office visit fee is charged for vaccinations provided through the Wednesday Shot Clinic. Examinations, medications, diagnostics, and treatment for medical concerns are separate and are not included.

Which vaccines does my pet need?

Vaccine recommendations depend on your pet’s age, health, lifestyle, vaccination history, and the veterinarian’s medical judgment. Bring any available vaccination records so the team can help determine what may be due.

Where can I see Shot Clinic vaccines and prices?

Visit our Wednesday Shot Clinic page for current clinic information. Vaccine availability and pricing may change, so please call if you need to confirm a specific vaccine before visiting.

03

Pharmacy & Prescriptions

Online ordering and prescription approval.

Does Cozycroft have an online pharmacy?

Yes. Our online pharmacy offers pet medications, preventatives, prescription diets, and other products delivered to your door.

Why does my online order require veterinary approval?

Prescription medications and diets require approval from a veterinarian. Approval may depend on your pet’s examination history, diagnosis, monitoring, and whether Cozycroft has the information legally and medically required to authorize the prescription.

How early should I request a medication refill?

Please request refills before your pet runs out. Approval timing can vary, and some medications may require an examination or laboratory monitoring before they can be refilled.

04

Payments & Financing

Paying for care and reviewing financing options.

When is payment due?

Payment is due when services are provided. Cozycroft accepts cash and major credit and debit cards.

Are financing options available?

Eligible clients may apply for financing through Cherry or CareCredit. Approval, available terms, and promotional offers are determined by each provider. Visit our Payment & Financing page to learn more.

Can I receive an estimate before treatment?

Please ask our team about anticipated costs and available treatment options. Medical needs can change during evaluation or treatment, and the team will explain significant changes whenever possible.

05

Urgent & After-Hours Care

What to do when care cannot wait.

What should I do if my pet needs urgent care during business hours?

Call us at (818) 341-3040 so our team can understand what is happening and advise you about availability or the appropriate level of care. If your pet is in immediate danger, contact the nearest emergency hospital.

What should I do when Cozycroft is closed?

Cozycroft does not provide 24-hour emergency care. Please visit our After-Hours Emergency Care page for the emergency hospitals we commonly recommend. Call the emergency hospital before traveling whenever possible.

What should I do if I think my pet was poisoned?

Contact an emergency hospital and ASPCA Animal Poison Control at (888) 426-4435. Do not induce vomiting or give a home antidote unless a veterinarian or poison-control expert specifically instructs you to do so. A consultation fee may apply.

Still Have a Question?

Our team is happy to help you determine the best next step for your pet.
